Decline a Booking Request

Sometimes it's not always possible to take a job on. Taskly makes it easy to decline booking requests and automatically informs the customer for you. The following article outlines how to decline a booking request.

Decline a Booking Request

  1. Go to Booking Requests and open the request you would like to decline

  2. Press Decline Booking

  3. Optionally enter a message to the customer explaining the reason, e.g. "Sorry, we don't have availability for this job right now."

  4. Press Submit

The customer will receive an email with your decline message (if provided). The booking request will move to the Declined status.

You can decline booking requests in any status — New, Quote Sent, Quote Rejected, or Quote Expired. Requests already in the Declined view cannot be declined again.
