Taskly organises booking requests into a pipeline with distinct statuses so you can see exactly where every lead is at a glance. The following article explains how the booking request pipeline works and what each status means.
When a customer submits a booking request via your website form, or you create one manually, it enters your pipeline at the New status. From there it moves through statuses as you take action on it.
Go to Booking Requests to see your full pipeline. The tabs across the top show each status and how many requests are currently in it.
New
The booking request has been received and is waiting for you to take action. New requests from your website booking form arrive here automatically. Manually created requests also start here.
New leads won't wait — the sooner you quote, the better your chances of winning the job.
Visit Scheduled
You have scheduled a site visit on the booking request. The customer and any assigned staff have been notified. Site visits are not required, you can skip to directly to quoting if you don’t need to have one.
Quote Sent
You have sent a quote to the customer. The booking request will stay in this status until the customer accepts, declines, or the quote expires.
Quote Rejected
The customer has declined your quote. The rejection reason (if provided) is visible on the quote record. You can review the reason and send a revised quote directly from the booking request.
Quote Expired
The customer did not respond to the quote before the expiry date you set. You can send a new quote at any time from the booking request.
Declined
You have declined the booking request. The customer has been notified (with your message if provided). Declined requests are removed from the active pipeline.
From any booking request you can:
