Create a Booking Request

Booking requests are leads that come into Taskly — either submitted by customers through your website booking forms, or created manually when a customer contacts you directly (e.g. by phone or email). The following article outlines how to create a booking request manually.

Booking requests created manually will not send any notification to the customer. They are simply added to your New queue for you to action.

Create a Booking Request

  1. Go to Booking Requests

  2. Press New Booking Request

  3. Select the Customer from your existing customer list

If the customer isn't in Taskly yet, press the + button next to the customer field to create a new customer record on the spot.

  4. The Address will auto-populate from the customer's record. Edit it if the job is at a different address.

  5. Select the Service(s) the customer is requesting

  6. Enter the customer's Preferred Date and Preferred Time

  7. Add any Booking Notes relevant to the job, e.g. access instructions or specific customer requirements

  8. Optionally upload any Photos the customer has provided

  9. Press Create

The booking request will appear in your New queue under Booking Requests, ready for you to send a quote or schedule a site visit.
